Julie Booker, EAMP, Dipl. OM, Dipl.Ac, Dipl.CH, FABORM practices in Seattle at Acupuncture Northwest and Associates, an integrative clinic specializing in reproductive health, fertility, gynecology and pregnancy care. She is a licensed and national board certified acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist and a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM). She sits on the executive board of ARORM. Julie received her Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2003. She also completed post-graduate training in acupuncture and Chinese herbology in gynecology. Her specialties include OB/GYN and women’s health, infertility and assisted reproduction support. She treats patients using acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, supplements and life style counseling in combination with a deep understanding of western medical conditions and protocols. She enjoys giving talks and oral presentations to the medical community regarding the role of TCM and the treatment of infertility.

Born and raised on a small farm outside of Seattle, 15 year old pop country recording artist Kassidy Lynne has a passion for singing and songwriting that is only matched by her devotion to her family and her faith. When Kassidy isn't spending time outdoors or playing volleyball, she is working tirelessly to perfect her skills as a vocalist and entertainer.
Drawing musical inspiration early on in her life from artists like Taylor Swift and Hannah Montana, Kassidy began taking vocal lessons so that she could enter a local idol competition at age 11. Since then, she has showcased at the Premiere Event Conference in Orlando for hundreds of talent agencies, performed at various venues around Washington including the Renton Chamber of Commerce, and sang the National Anthem for the Seattle Thunderbirds at ShoWare Center as well as Tacoma Rainiers at Cheney Stadium.
In 2015, she began writing songs in Nashville with songwriter and recording artist Jordan Pruitt (Hollywood Records, The Voice). Later that year, she teamed up with producer Paul Moak (Mat Kearney, Third Day) to record her debut EP titled "Carolina Water." Kassidy plans to continue writing songs and performing all over Washington while promoting her debut EP and music video.

The Chaco Canyon Organic Cafe was launched in September 2003 by owner Chris Maykut with the expressed intent of providing a unique, environmentally conscious, and organic dining experience to the Seattle community. Our original location was a tiny, basement den next to the original Flying Apron Bakery on the corner of 50th & Brooklyn. There, Lois Rivera – still our one and only Head Chef – Chris, and some other wonderful folks slowly and surely built a clientele and business throughout the 3½ years we were there. In addition to offering Seattle’s only raw menu, we also hosted monthly “Special Dinners” – upscale five-course raw meals that were thoroughly enjoyed by our community. Steady growth led to the realization that our space was just not large enough to provide everything we wanted to make accessible to the community, and in March of 2007 we joyously moved to our current University District location. We added sandwiches, grain bowls and smoothies to the repertoire, and soon baked goods and monthly specials followed.
