Eat Good, Feel Good
This morning before I left for work, I had a few extra seconds to spare (I surprisingly wasn’t rushing to beat crazy New York traffic), and although it’s not my day to weigh, I decided to hop on the scale and do it anyway. To my surprise I was another pound down. I was really happy once I looked down, and told myself that my hard work and dedication are paying off. Yeah, I know, it’s only two pounds, but I really do feel it. My pants are a little less snug, and I feel a little less bloated. It’s a great start! By sticking with the same eating plan as last week (during work), eating clean and healthy dinners, cutting out soda and alcohol from my diet, and exercising 5 days a week, I have faith that the numbers on the scale will keep decreasing. Eat good, feel good baby! I try to eat fish at least 3 times per week. I always knew it was good for you, but never really knew how or why until I once read an article online. Fish is a superfood, packed with vitamins and minerals such as iron and b-12, and can also help protect against many diseases like cancer, heart disease, or arthritis. They also contain omega – 3 fatty acids which your body needs.
Last night I had fish, broccoli and corn on the cob for dinner, and let me tell you, it was awesome. The fish was amazing, and even the broccoli was really good (and I’m not a huge broccoli person!) The best part is, is that my dinner was less than 500 calories! Sweeet! I regret not taking a picture to show you guys how it looked but in the future I will be sure to take them along with posting recipes.
